Hi, I’m Doug. For the last decade and a half, I’m also known as ” Grampa fix this”. I have always had a mechanical aptitude but no training, so hands on and Google and YouTube and expert advice have been my mentors. However, all my successes are not from me but are enabling gifts from God and all things are possible through Him. So….. Will, Patience, and Trust along with Commitment have been the ingredients for my pursuits. There is so much to learn, so pick your challenges where you really want to find joy. First and foremost, you have to love what you are doing. Just make sure you don’t exceed your physicality and make it fun! Always, if there is a will, there is a way. Use your best resources and invent ways to make the labors easier. Common sense and leverage are really useful.

Back in the day people lived by what they could produce and life was simpler. Pushing buttons and sitting on your duff isn’t very edifying, but how does that satisfy “giving back”? Sure it makes money for Gamer Wizards but doesn’t feed the hungry.
